Something kind of tribal-ish, I was inspired by that outfit she had on in that old old thanksgiving special.

I think you're mixing together Bart vs. Thanksgiving and the very first canonical episode Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire. In the beginning of Roasting she was dancing around in the tribal outfit on stage, at least that's the only time I remember her in a tribal outfit.
